Come together for this 4 week inner trip, where you will experience neurogenic tremouring via your in-built stress release mechanism! You already have it just like all mammals, but humans have forgotten to use it.

TRE® is an innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. The exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance, and healthy nervous system regulation. It is natures way to restore us to homeostasis and balance after stress.

It’s a powerful practice you can then use in the rest of your life.

I’m Sarah :)

After over a decade working in film production for Netflix, Warner Bros, BBC, Disney, I realised I had to start investing in my wellbeing if I were to have longevity in my Industry.

I retrained in multiple therapeutic models, and as a Wellbeing Facilitator with BFI/6ftFrom and I-ACT Manager to support mental health in the Film Industry.

As a Certified TRE Provider, (which is the practice at Shake Club), I found the most remarkable results for workplace wellbeing, and now offer Shake Club’s across Industries.

I deliver Shake Club across the UK and Europe, alongside a pool of hand-picked qualified practitioners and small team.

The LowDown

  • The group sessions of Shake club will take place on 28th March, and 4th and 11th April. The main group will start at 7pm GMT, though if there is demand I will add a second timing that works for the group.

  • TRE® is an innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. The exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance, and healthy nervous system regulation.

  • You! Since this shaking mechanism in the muscles is part of our natural behaviour as humans, everyone can benefit from TRE. Shaking of the muscles increases the resiliency of the body because it causes deep relaxation that naturally reduces stress levels. It can gently release deeply held tensions, and associated emotions whether caused by work stress, excessive worry, conflict in relationships, physical stresses or traumas from accidents.

    Now, this course starts with a 1 to 1 session, where we will talk through everything and I will guide you. If you are currently in a period of struggling with active trauma, please contact me first so we can discuss if this is the right time to try this. The practice is designed with Trauma in mind, but it may be that you are best suited to 1:1 attention rather than the group sessions offered in this course.

  • It is ideal to start with a 1-1 session or in very small groups, to have plenty of individual attention, as you are introduced to the process and guided to make first contact with the tremors. It is easy to learn and stretches can be adapted to you. Sessions last around 1hr and 10 minutes, and all you need is a mat or blanket to lie on, a blanket and an internet connection, to take part at home. All sessions are currently held over Zoom.

  • In my experience, if is important for people to receive dedicated attention as they first get in touch with this inner experience. Most of us come with a dose of difficult times in our past and we may not have had an opportunity to release anything before. Trying TRE with a provider like myself brings a container for you to feel new things safely and gradually. From there, you have the comfort of a co-regulated first time and confidence of knowing your questions are answered and you have been seen.

  • Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (or TRE®) is based on the fundamental idea, backed by research, that stress, tension and trauma is both psychological and physical. TRE®’s reflexive muscle vibrations generally feel pleasant and soothing. After doing TRE®, many people report feelings of peace and well-being. TRE® has helped many thousands of people globally.
